Logo Design Prices in Kenya: What You Should Pay and What You Get

Logo design in Kenya runs from KSh 500 on a WhatsApp group to six figures at an agency. Here's what separates them, the files you must receive, and how to brief a designer so you only pay once.

A logo is the cheapest thing you'll put on every shop sign, uniform, invoice and Instagram post, so it's worth getting right once. Kenyan logo prices vary wildly. Here's what you're actually buying at each level.

Logo design price in Kenya: the levels

  • KSh 500 to KSh 2,000: template edits, often from free logo makers. Fast, but other businesses may have the same design
  • Around KSh 6,000 and up: an original logo from a professional designer with a few concepts and revisions (this is where ours start)
  • KSh 25,000 and up: a full brand identity with logo, colours, fonts and a guide showing how to use them
  • Agency rebrands for big organisations: research, workshops and rollout, priced in the hundreds of thousands or more

The files you must get

  • Vector files (AI, SVG or PDF) that scale to a billboard without going blurry
  • PNG files with transparent backgrounds for documents and social media
  • Versions for dark and light backgrounds, plus a square icon for WhatsApp and social profiles
  • Your colour codes and font names
  • Written confirmation that you own the design

How to brief a logo designer

  • What you sell and who buys it
  • Three words you want people to feel when they see it, like 'trusted', 'fast' or 'premium'
  • Logos you like and dislike, and why
  • Where it will be used most: signage, packaging, uniforms or mostly phone screens

How much does a logo cost to make in Kenya?

From a few hundred shillings for template work to tens of thousands for a full identity. A professional original logo from us starts at KSh 6,000.

How can I create my own logo?

Free tools like Canva can produce a simple text logo. Keep it to your business name in one clean font and one colour. Upgrade to a designed logo once the business is earning.
