Graphic design prices in Kenya depend on who's designing, how many revisions you get, and whether you need the editable file. Use this rate card as a guide when comparing quotes. Printing is always extra.
Typical design prices in Kenya
- Business card design: from about KSh 1,000 to KSh 3,000 for a two-sided design
- Flyer or poster design: from about KSh 1,500 to KSh 5,000 per design, depending on detail
- Social media posts: often sold in packs. Ours start from KSh 5,000 per pack
- Event, political and campaign posters: priced by the number of variants, sizes and deadlines
- Menus, banners and roll-ups: priced by size and number of pages
What makes the price go up
- Unlimited revisions (ask for a fixed number instead)
- Rush deadlines, especially election-season posters
- Illustration or photo editing beyond basic layout
- Receiving the editable source file
How to get good design the first time
Send all the text, final and spelled correctly, in one message, with your logo files and an example you like. Most design budgets are eaten by 'small changes' to wording that should have been final.
