Social Media Management Prices in Kenya: Rate Cards and Monthly Packages
Social media managers in Kenya charge from a few thousand shillings to well over KSh 50,000 a month. Here's what each level includes, what's usually excluded (ad spend!), and how to judge a package.
When you hire social media management in Kenya, you're paying for three things: content (design, video, captions), consistency (posting on schedule) and community (replying to comments and messages). Cheap packages usually cut the second and third.
Social media management prices in Kenya
- Freelancers and students: a few thousand shillings a month, usually posting only
- Small agencies and experienced managers: about KSh 10,000 to KSh 40,000 a month for content, posting and basic engagement
- Full-service agencies: from about KSh 50,000 a month, with strategy, video production, ads and reporting
Our packages
- Premium (full team): KSh 40,000/mo. Content, ads, strategy — the works
- Growth (active): KSh 25,000/mo. Steady posting + real engagement
- Starter (presence): KSh 12,000/mo. Show up consistently, look professional
What's usually not included
- Ad spend: the money paid to Meta or TikTok is always extra
- Professional photo and video shoots
- Influencer fees
- Replying to customer enquiries around the clock (unless agreed)
How to judge a rate card
- How many posts and videos per week, on which platforms?
- Who writes captions, and do you approve them before posting?
- What's reported each month: reach, followers, or actual enquiries?
- Who owns the accounts and passwords? It should be you
