How to Choose a Digital Marketing Company in Kenya (Questions to Ask First)

There are hundreds of digital marketing companies in Kenya, and many sell likes instead of customers. Here are the questions that separate them, the red flags, and what fair pricing looks like.

Search 'digital marketing companies in Kenya' and you'll find hundreds, from one-person freelancers to big Nairobi agencies. The right one isn't the biggest or the cheapest. It's the one that measures success the way you do: enquiries and sales.

Questions to ask any agency

  • Show me results for a business like mine, in enquiries or sales, not followers
  • Who will actually do the work, and will I talk to them?
  • What exactly happens in the first 30 days?
  • How do you report results, and how often?
  • Who owns the ad accounts, pages, website and data? (It should be you)
  • What's included in the fee, and is ad spend separate?

Red flags

  • Guaranteed number-one rankings on Google: nobody can guarantee that
  • Buying followers or likes
  • Long contracts before any results
  • Refusing to give you access to your own accounts

Digital marketing prices in Kenya

Expect monthly retainers from about KSh 10,000 for basic social media management to KSh 50,000 or more for full service. One-off projects (a campaign, an SEO setup, a video) are priced separately. Ad spend is always on top. Our own prices are published openly on our pricing page.
