Client & context
A Nakuru water delivery business — the kind that keeps a whole neighbourhood supplied from a fleet of trucks and a very full notebook.
The problem
Water delivery businesses run on calls, cash and memory. There is no record of who ordered what, no prepayment, no delivery tracking and no customer history — so revenue leaks, disputes are unwinnable, and the owner is the only database the business has.
What we built
- A scoped MVP for prepaid ordering — customers top up first, then order against their balance
- Delivery tracking, so every order has a status instead of a phone call
- M-Pesa-friendly payment flows designed around how customers already pay
The outcome
A working foundation the business can run and we can extend — developed with a real prospect, against real delivery routes, not in the abstract. Labelled plainly: pilot, in development. We would rather tell you that than claim a deployment that hasn't happened.
